This week was super lit. I loved it. My new companion is a Goat. He's the best! We have fun and work hard.
Last monday we went to Costco with the 2 othrt elders in our district. It was so lit, I love Costco. We bought stuff to make quesadilla. They are so good. We then played some pool and stuff it was great! That night we did some finding in a new spot so that was great!
Tuesday we headed up to 中壢 zhong li for our district council we had it in a park and it was pretty good. My district is fun. It has another set of elders and a set of sisters. District of 6 people. We had some beef noodles with all you can eat icecream for lunch so good! Later we had some lessons and stuff. It was all good.
Wednesday we did a decent amount of finding but found no one. We had a couple lessons and that's about it. Later we had English group and that was pretty fun!
Thursday we went all the way up to taibei for a meeting. Since it's my companions second transfer they have a meeting. So we got to go to that. It was very fun! I loved it. The mission president and his wife are the best!
Friday we had a nice member lunch (請客). It was very great! The food was fire. Afterwards we had a member take us up to 楊梅 yang mei to grab my bike. Yangmei is the last area my dad served at and it is in my area. So that's really cool! We rode the bike from yangmei all the way back to the church with took like an hour lol. Then we had some great lessons and other stuff. One of our friends Jason 林 is the best. He and his 9 year old daughter are the best.
Saturday we had Jason 林s baptism. It was so awesome! He has already read the book of mormon 3 times in less then 2 months. My comp said he read the book of Alma in 2 days. His baptismal service was a heartwarming experience. He has so much faith and is so willing. I'm greatful to be a part of it! Also this weekend was 端午節 dragon boat festival. So that was pretty cool. Many people gave us 粽子 which is a pyramid-shaped rice dumpling thing. It's kinda weird. The story on this is very interesting. Anyways, LETS GOOL JASON 林！
Sunday was great. We had church and had some cool lessons. One with a guy from Guatemala he is pretty cool. But not willing to keep any commitments so we will probably stop teaching. He is still cool tho. We then did alot of studies contacting and planning and meetings. Overall a good chill day.
Today we went with a member who came down from taibei. He is super lit. We ate 吃到飽烤肉. All you can eat barbecued meat. So fire! We then went and did some hiking/exploring stuff. Overall great day!
