Week 86

 

This week has been pretty fire. It was fast and slow. Time on the mission is very weird and is always change. Always feels super short and super long at the same time.

Last monday night we had a lesson and some finding.

Tuesday we had zone conference. I always love zone conference. It is always so fun. This zone conference we learned alot about ourselves and our relationship with the Savior. It was really spiritual. A fun thing that happened is our mission president sat on a round table and we all put one finger under the table and lifted him off the ground. It was so lit. The table came right off the ground. After zone conference we had some lessons which is good!

Wednesday was a pretty busy day.

We had district council and English group and we had a decent amount of lessons. They were all great! English group was pretty chill aswel. I had a good time. 

 

Thursday we did a ton of finding like 4hours plus. So that's fun as always :) we found alot of sucess that day. Later at night we had some lessons one of which our friend had his baptismal interview. And he passed It! The date is to be baptised on May 11th. Should be good. Please pray for him! 黃奕呈 Huang YiCheng is his name. After those we had coordination meeting with one of the wards.

Friday was a busy day full of amazing things! We had like six lessons and they were all super awesome! it was a fun day 

Saturday was good although finding new people was super bad haha. We found for a super long time and couldn't find anyone till the last bit. But we ran into a member snd we went to their home to visit them they are very nice and friendly. We had a good visit. That was about it tho

Sunday was a very fun day. We had alot of homies pull up to church so that's nice. It was a little crazy. We eventually got members sitting by all of them so that's good. Our friend Huang YiCheng is doing great and we showed him the baptismal. Stuff the rest of the day was normal with lots of planning and meeting. But yeah

Today we biked to a kinda far place but it was really cool. I liked it but I am super tired now.  Overall this week was great. Still getting used to how this transfer we be tho. Oh well. I can do this. I will keep working my head off.

復活節快樂 - Week 85

 

This week has been a pretty fire week. At the beginning of the week I was feeling not so great. But now I am feeling awesome! 

Last monday we were at the zoo it was pretty lit. We had a pass off lesson with the sisters. After that we did some finding. We ran into this guy where we shared about baptism and stuff. So that's cool.  

Tuesday we had the first district council of the transfer. It went pretty well. I'm in a district of only sisters still .  After we ate lunch and we had our other studies and stuff. We did some finding and then like 4 lessons. Lessons went pretty well. We passed off alot of friends to the sisters missionaries in our ward.

Wednesday we went to 安坑 (ankeng). Its probably my favorite place here in my area. We found quite a few people over there. We then went back to the church had some finding a lesson and we had English group. Overall pretty fun. 

Thursday we had a lesson and a Ton of finding. So yay! We found for a long time and didn't find like anyone. But at night we had ward coordination meeting and we had a lesson with 黃奕呈 brother huang. He is so lit. He will have his baptismal interview soon and be baptized in May. He is so lit. He made my day!

Friday was quite a fruitful day! We did finding and found friends we had a decent amount of lessons. So that's good. The friends we had lessons with are doing pretty well. They are cool. So Friday felt pretty busy.

Saturday we also pretty busy. We were going to have a lesson at 11:30 with this one guy but he slept in. So we set up a later time and we had a lit member accompany and we put this fellow on baptismal date. He is a homie from 花蓮。so he is aboriginal 原住民。 we did alot of finding and we called people for church

Sunday was a pretty chill day. I gave a small talk in one of the wards. We also had a decent amount of friends come. We had our Easter service which isn't much special its just only an hour long. One of the speakers had a fire talk. 

Apparently one of our friends that came to church, his neighbor is in our ward and they both gave talks so they said they were shocked when our friend came in. After church we watched a video for the Asia area of our church. It was cool.

After we had our studies and stuff. Then did some finding and meeting calls for me. Overall a good sabbath and a happy Easter.

Today we ate some 吃到飽烤肉. All you can eat BBQ. So fire!

Recently in finding I have switched to talking mostly about Jesus christ instead of God as a whole. The sisters said they ran into people that say. Yeah there was a guy who talked to us about Jesus. That made me feel that when you talk about Jesus they will always feel the spirit and remember that. So I changed that up and mention Jesus christ all the time. 

It reminds me of his Resurrection. There are alot of other religions here in Taiwan. But all the people they. Beleive in has passed away long times ago. But the greatest message is He is Risen. Jesus Christ Lives. He overcame death and he is our Savior and Redeemer. I love him so much!

Week 84

 

Last week was a pretty crazy week. It's the end of the transfer so I only got this one and one left. It's coming up quickly. Last transfer was probably one of the best transfers. Me and my comp got along really well saw lots of miracles and tried our best. 

Last pday we went up to the chapel where the temple and mission office is to play basketball. Even though I'm not that good at basketball and my shoes suck it was still really fun! After pday we had a some lessons and yeah.

Tuesday was a super busy day haha. We had district council and had 9 lessons. So it was a crazy day. Just cool to see that much sucess from hard work. And it's all to the Lord, nothing we did.

Wednesday was also busy with some lessons finding and English group. We had sucess in finding. Our lesson went well. We have a couple of friends that are a little difficult to know how to help them. But we are trying. 

Thursday was a normal day. I can't remember really if anything fun or cool happened. We had some good lessons. One of our friends loves the book of mormon. So that's pretty cool. He is on baptismal date.

Friday was our last day of the transfer. So we had like 5 lessons we had a member meal which was great! We ate subway which is pretty fire. All the lessons went great. We had one with the guy who is on baptismal date. We taught the law of chastity. After we had another lesson with luna. She is super elect. But yeah we had alot of good stuff.

Saturday was our transfer day. I'm staying and got a new companion. So that is pretty good. I went to 中和 with another missionary to wait for our companions to come. Once I got my companion we headed back. We had a lesson, did some finding, had a dinner with the same member on Friday haha. He is very kind.

We then called people for church. This week is general conference for us so we tried to invite our friends to come. 

Sunday we had general conference and watched it with our ward. And our friends also came. I though conference was so fire! After that we did some planning and other stuff. Some finding and found a lit homie. Overall a good Sunday.

Today we went to the zoo. It was pretty good. I had a good time. I'll send some pictures here.

Anyways I has a good week. I just need to continue being my best.
