Week 48

What's up 大家好。 this week has been a blur. I will try my hardest to recall what happened!

So last Monday was lit we went to the amusement park and it was so fun! It was in a very cool location in the middle of no where.

Tuesday was so lit. We had Interviews with the president it was really good. Our new president is really sick and very fun. They came down to Toufen. after we had district council. After we ate some food and some Popsicles. It was windy that day and the wind knocked our bikes down while we were away. Later that night we had a very pretty sunset.

Wednesday we stayed in due to the typhoon. Where I'm at the typhoon did nothing. Just a tiny bit of rain. so we just called thousands of formers

Thursday after 2pm we were allowed to leave our apartment. It was a lot more raining and windy than Wednesday but we were allowed to go out. It was really fun and had a lot of water. Super lit

Friday it started raining out of nowhere so we got soaking wet. We had some lessons and stuff. That day we had some weird finding because we went to fix my companions bike and we found some lit people. Later that night we ran into a very prepared lady. Her English was really good. We turned down some random road and it was so scuffed but we ran into this lady. We started with helping her cut down a branch. Afterwards she was interested and asked some good questions about our church. She is awesome. We then ate pizza for dinner.

Saturday was lit. First we went put to eat brunch with a really cool lady. She is very kind and nice. It was fun. That night we had a baptism. The baptismal font in our chapel is just a swimming pool it is very scuffed. The baptism was really good. And I got to baptize her. It was a cool experience epically because I taught her the lessons and saw her grow a lot. She has a lot of faith in Jesus Christ. That was a great day.

Sunday we went to church and had a really cool guy and his dad came. Also one the old guys from last week. He is really lit. And some others. It was great. We had a lesson at 4 with this guy who seems a little shy but very awesome and willing. We rode ji bikes up to Zhunan did some finding ran into this really cool and funny Filipino. She was sick. Then that night we had a lesson then headed home for the day. Then ate late dinner. 

Today we went to a place that was really pretty. It has a bunch of animals. Birds and a lot of other cool stuff. Had some sick fish like Arapaima and Gar. So lit.

This week has been full of joy. I have enjoyed it. Hopefully this next week can be so much fun! 

I'm so grateful for all the blessings from serving. And I'm grateful for the growth.

Week 47

Hey what's up homies.

We went to ride bikes along the beach last Monday. There was a guy stuck in the sand. And somebody brought a truck rigged as a monster. It was pretty lit.

Tuesday we went up to Taoyuan for zone conference. It was good. We heard like 6 or 7 people shared their Departing testimonies. It was awesome. The conference was great. It was about faith, and becoming a consecrated to the Lord. We got home that night then went near a night market finding. We got given some water Mellon drinks from these two guys. They said wait here and they went and bought it. Super lit.

Wednesday we did a lot of finding and had our English group. We had some new people come which was lit. All very cool!

Thursday we exchanged. I went down to Miaoli which is under my area. It is really empty compared to all other areas I've been too. It's pretty cool though. I had a fun time.

Friday we ended our exchange on some fire breakfast food. After we did some studies and just a ton of finding.

Saturday we had a lesson and a ton of finding then ate dinner with a member it was pretty yummy.

Sunday we went to church in the morning and we had two homies over 80 years old pull up. It was so funny and a great miracle. We went over to study at a Starbucks and a random guy who just started talking to me. And I shared and gave him a book of Mormon. And he said he will come to church. Afterwards we did a but ton of finding then ate dinner super late. It was a good day.

Today we went to the amusement park with a bunch of lit rides. It was so lit. It's kind of like Disney land but maybe not as good. It was fun though I had a good time. It was kind of hard to get to though. There was a bunch of monkeys too that we could see. Lit time.

My week was pretty good. I hope everyone is doing well. I love you all!

Week 46

hello everyone. this week was really good. 

last Monday we tried to go to the golf course and it was too much. so we went to the Amusement park right by are home. it is inside of a building. and it has a bunch of things you can do.

Tuesday we went up for zone council in zhubei. it's like a 30 minute train ride. probably like an hour of travel. the chapel there is really beautiful. after we had lunch. it was good. we ate fried chicken haha. after Tuesday we started our exchange. i went to Xinzhu which is a pretty big city. it was really fun. i exchanged with elder Lyman. he is so awesome and funny. good to be around. we had a good time.

Wednesday we finished our exchange and ate McDonalds. That morning me and elder lyman Went to the skatepark. he has a skate board. it was so lit. although I'm not really good at skating. i think when i get home i gotta get on that.

we had English group at Night.

Thursday we went Taipei for a meeting. because this is my companions second transfer so we went there for 6 week follow up. it went well. our new mission president and his family is really sick. really excited for them. that took up most of the day. we came home ate dinner then went Out finding.

Friday was pretty average. but at Night we a member ordered pizza that we went and bought. we put dinner at the End of the day so that was lit. we ate pizza and chilled.

Saturday we woke up and headed over to the zhunan chapel for A baptism. we have two little girls who got baptized. their mom isn't baptized yet. but she has been really faithful. anyways the elder that taught them came down from Taipei to baptize them. it was a really cool experience. his name is elder huang. he is super cool.

that night we also had a member visit. It was cool. their home is out of the city so the bike ride was nice. we had tacos for dinner and brownies and ice cream. it was so fire and pretty fun.

Sunday we had A lady who came to church. she keeps saying she doesn't believe in God and believes in science. we had some really awesome members help her out. I think her mind has changed a little. one thing about other churches and stuff IS they don't really believe science and stuff like that. 

at least in Taiwan. but our church does and we have a lot of answers that no body else has. it's a Testimony builder for me. 

anyways that night we had dinner with a member couple. it was pretty lit.

today we are going to GO biking by the beach and look around. should be pretty lit. i didn't take many pictures this week buy i had fun.

i love it here in Taiwan. it's been An amazing experience. although a lot of  the Time it kind of sucks. but, I've grown so much. and it's been awesome.

1 year baby 🫡

 I cannot believe I hit a year. The days truly are long but the months go by Pretty fast. And I get many blessings from heavenly father for serving his children. I also learn and grow so much. I'm grateful for the opportunity to come to Taiwan. Same place as the old fart dad. 

This week has been insanely long. But very very good. 

Last Monday was transfer days. I got my new companion Elder Wong. He is a homie. He comes from Australia. He is really tall and has red hair. He is pretty sweet. He is hard working and we should have a fun time together! 

Since the area close by us we are also covering that area as well so we have a lot of work to do. And it's hard to help our friends. But we chillin

Tuesday I had my first district council as a district leader.  I was stressed at first but it ended up going good. Even though I didn't know what I'm doing haha. O well. We had lessons and some finding. It went well. 

Wednesday we did lots of finding fixed a bike had some lessons. We also looked at some fish and turtles and stuff. A lot of cool little things like that around Taiwan. Like random decorations and crap on people's houses. Pots with water plants and fish. We then taught English group. Thankfully Elder Wong and the way he did it made it fun! Everyone seemed cool. We have a friend we called who is golden. The are so willing to keep commitments. They are lit.

Thursday was also crazy we did lots of finding and some teaching. It went well. We had a good time finding. Thursday night we went to the basketball courts to ball up. Too bad I don't know what I'm doing in basketball. And all the homies are pretty good. It was fun. We went because a couple of the people we know went. It was sick.

Friday was also good! We did a lot of studies and stuff. Then we were going to have a board game activity but no one pulled up so we went finding instead. BTW this is all in the new area we now cover. We have to ride our bikes like 30 minutes to get their to the chapel. 

Saturday was also very busy. We met the ward mission leader of zhunan and he gave us a fat stack of fliers which we gave out on Sunday. But this day we messaged and called a billion people. We didn't get to do any studies. It was good tho. We also got in some finding. 

Sunday was also busy. We Taught like 5 lessons and passed out a ton of fliers in zhunan near the chapel. Later that night we went to a ladies house with a member and shared about Christ's divine mission Faith and repentance. It went well and the lady was very nice! Oh yeah we didn't eat dinner till after we got home. Because we would have to ride back home then back to zhunan. It was lit tho. I cooked a lot of eggs and some toast with Sriracha. It was fire!

I didn't take a lot of pictures I feel like but I'll send the ones I have.

For my year mark I will share my testimony

I know that Heavenly Father loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things.

I know that Jesus is the Christ. He took upon the pains and afflictions of all people. Because of this he knows how to succor his people.

He perfectly understands us our problems our worries and all.

I know because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ all will be ok. I love Him so much. 

I know that the plan of salvation is real and the Atonement of Jesus Christ is the center of everything.

This is my testimony of the only thing that truly matters
