WEEK 13 --5 months out

I hit 5 months on my mission yesterday! I can't say it's flying by but it kinda is. Time is weird on your mission. It can feel like you've been out for not much time, and at the same time you've been out forever. Kind of weird.

It seems the ski season started probably a couple weeks ago. Skiing is so fun. My siblings have went up a couple times.

since last Thursday was Thanksgiving we had a mission conference then had a Thanksgiving lunch. It was so good. One thing that I am greatful for is my family and friends. The relationships that we get to make. I know that this is all possible to have families and friends because of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Fathers plan for Us. 

I know through Jesus Christ's Gospel we can have amazing lasting relationships with each other. So I'm so greatful for the relationships we make.

I love you guys so much!

We delivered the dumplings we made last week to some place. I'm not sure what for. But it was like a service thingy.

Last pday we went to a huge lego shop it was awesome. And just went to other shops

On Saturday we played some volleyball with some members and non members. It was really fun. Same day we invited some random person we talked to at a park to come to the board game activity that night. And they pulled up. So that was cool.

We had some lessons and some other Things like helping people with english. Street finding and other stuff. Every week has been a lot more busy compared to my first transfer. I'm on my third transfer with the same comp from 2nd transfer. He is super cool greatful to have him.

That's about all really.

Love you all so much. I can feel the Love of the Savior for others a lot more. I feel it for all you guys too. I'm so greatful I get the chance to serve in Taiwan. Hope everyone's weeks go well.

Week 12 --Practice English

This week was pretty good. Been really busy with a lot. It's good to be busy but it's really hard. As missionaries we have so much we have to do.

We had a cool experience on Wednesday. We found someone who seems to have a desire to learn more which is really good. It seems like lots of the people we have right now don't have a great desire to learn and come closer to Christ.

We had a ton of activities too. This week we are gonna try to invite people to the board game activity and try to get more people to come to it. 

We practice English with this person and they invited us to a party lol. Their English was really good. As missionaries, we probably can't go but it was cool I guess.

We have transfers today but me and my comp aren't moving. So that's cool because I love my comp. He super cool and funny. We like a lot of the same things. And joke around a ton also.

The hardest part is to find people with the desire and want to improve and progress.

We have a family that could be promising. They were sent over by the sisters. They either just need more time or something to change their perspective. I hope they can have a desire to grow close to Christ.

I hope everyone is doing good. I do miss you guys. And miss many other things. But I'm so grateful
for everything. And this chance to serve God's children. I miss the ski season though lol, and snow but I'm so happy to be in Taiwan. I love the people and culture. It's so awesome.

WEEK 11 in Tucheng--HUGE GRIND

I forgot to send this. I had it finished just didn't send it.

this week was good as always.

I had exchanges from Wednesday morning to Thursday morning. We had two lessons then taught English on Wednesday. Two people came to thr advance class in the sanxia district. They were both really awesome and it was super fun talking to them. One was really funny.

We had not as much finding this week. But, we've been busy which is good.

Sunday night I felt really sick and most of today. But I'm feeling better.

This week has been busy. Missionary work is a Huge grind. And very tiring.

I love you all and hope everyone's doing good. Just look for the small and simple things that make you happy.

WEEK 10 --Missionary work is 100% grind...

 

this week was really good. It's been really good. I'm getting a lot better and more comfortable at talking to random people. My Chinese is getting better, probably.

It was a really fun week. And been working a lot. This week we had a mission tour. And it was pretty good. We had I think a 70 over the southern Asia area. 

Last p-day we went and played ultimate Frisby and that was really fun. We also went and I bought a chocolate oreo shaved ice thing. It was really tasty. I put a picture of it.

We had some lessons and some visiting. We had some member meals. It was all good. Me and my companion have a fun time and laugh a lot.

We played volleyball with some homies.

It was really fun, we then got breakfast with them.

My zone is also really awesome. The other missionaries are great.

I'm grateful to be in Taiwan. Some of the people are so cute lol. But I've been enjoying it even though it's hard.

The people are awesome. The culture is awesome. The food I'd awesome. It's been a really cool experience. Missionary work is 100% a grind though. But you can still have fun. You have to really try to find it though.
