WEEK 9--21 Savage Day

 

This week went well I would say.

One thing the mission does. It helps you appreciate and be greatful for everything.  For family, hobbies, life and other stuff. I'm greatful for that.

Last pday we went to a Costco for lunch. Pizza and hotdogs. Not as good as on america but still fire. We then went to a college campus and played some soccer then we played basketball with some random kids. It was really fun.

Zone council and taught two friends on Tuesday. We talked about Halloween in our English group.

I think Halloween may be my favorite holiday. I love scary movies and scary games. The whole vibe of Halloween is sick. We had a Halloween party on Saturday with the ward. It was for the kids. It was pretty fun.

We set up a lesson with one of our friends and he doesn't have a phone so we can't text him. We also got two peike's which is a term for a member accompanying the lesson. He didn't show up. So the members took us to dinner to this BBQ place.

You get to go choose any meats you want and vegetables and you bring it back to the table and you cook it yourself it's really fire tbh.

Sunday. Taking the sacrament is always peaceful.

Then we helped someone with English over call. And did a little street finding.

We went to visits the Hong family at 7:30. They were really nice and it was good. They have two younger boys. We forgot to get a picture. Another elder added us to a group chat with this person. And she is crazy lol.

We did alot of street contacting as well. I'm still not good at it but it's getting better. My Chinese is better but it feels worse. If that makes sense.

My companion is really fun, I like him alot.

We made a new holiday. Every 21st of every month is 21 Savage day. So mark that on your calendars. It's the best day ever.

WEEK 7--Transferred to TuCheng!

This week was pretty good 

On Tuesday we taught this guy who believes in the Bible but he was arguing that the Book of Mormon isn't historical or real. So it didn't go that well but whatever. 

We went to an area as a zone and did some zone finding it was good. I went to a really beautiful nature walk place.

Wednesday we have a new friend named John. He has been reading the Book of Mormon and seems to be doing really good. We taught him the plan of salvation. It went really well.

Thursday we played some basketball at night. We played with the same people we usually see there. It was really fun to play with them.

Friday we did a ping-pong activity. A decent amount of people showed up and it was really fun. A girl and a guy who both speak amazing English came. And we talked about music artists. And some other Things. It was fun.

Saturday we had a family history activity we went and passed out fliers for a couple hours. And the activity went well. A lot of people came which was good.

Sunday I packed up all my stuff because today I transfer. 

My new companion is Elder Mehr. And my new area is TuCheng. I'm pretty nervous actually. But it should be a fun change.

WEEK 6 in TAIWAN--Ping Pong

Tuesday after we had district council. We did a exchange. I went with Elder Merritt to his area. Me and Matt Merritt were good childhood friends. We had a fun time street contacting people and just catching up on things we needed to do.

It was really nice change for me. 

Wednesday we did an English group. Where we discussed about our favorite movies and shows. It was cool to get yo know the people who came more.

Friday we had a lesson with our new friend. About the restoration and the book of Mormon. Later we went to diner with a former but he was actually a member in a different area. We went to McDonald's. We had our Ping-Pong activity and no one showed up so me and my comp Elder Daines played some Ping-Pong.

Saturday and Sunday

We watched conference which was really awesome. One of my favorite talks was. "God Knows and Loves You"  By Elder Alan T. Phillips. I invite you guys to watch it.

Today we are headed to the far north of the island. Which is really beautiful. To go to a market where tourist's come a lot. Doing a hike. And going to the beach. Should be fun.

WEEK 5 -- Cool Vibe

This week has been pretty good

We went on a hike this pday and it was pretty cool.

Did some missionary things. 

When it rains at night, it's very pretty and a cool vibe
